Fat Hoschi: We - the Fat Hoschi Crew - are a group of friends who have been organizing concerts, parties, readings, film evenings, etc. at regular intervals at Alhambra Oldenburg since the summer of 2012. The idea of founding an event group arose from the idea of expanding the program at Alhambra in addition to the surplus of electronic parties. concerts: The majority of our event is made up of concerts, which are mainly in the genre range from punk and grunge to hardcore and powerviolence to crust and black metal. More important than the genre, however, are bands that we like and that share our political aspirations for events.

punx and politics: The co-creation of the free space Alhambra as well as our common understanding of musical and political content are always at the forefront of our events. Our aim is to break down our previous structures, which have led to our audience being predominantly old, white and male. This means that we want to offer more young bands, especially FLINTA and BIPoC bands, a stage at Alhambra. For more diversity on and in front of the stage!

do it together: Our events are 100% DIY and non-profit! That means we do all the fun (and stress) on a voluntary basis in our free time. Organizing events involves a lot of work, which we tackle together: Writing to bands | designing & distributing flyers | social media | implementing our own ideas | cooking for bands | making beds | technology (sound & light) | DJing (aftershow) | cleaning Alhambra | collecting solidarity funds | getting to know nice people | getting involved in Alhambra

be part of it: Our aim for more diversity and inclusion applies not only to the line-up of our events, but also to our own group. We are therefore happy to welcome (young) FLINTA and BIPoC who are interested in organizing and thus gain new perspectives on Fat Hoschi events. You don't need any (previous) experience in organizing, because we didn't have any at the beginning. The motivation to help shape a free space is sufficient! We can also show you the Alhambra outside of events, give you an insight into the structures and answer your questions (if possible).
