The "European Music Tracks" are a festival of Leipzig's musical heritage: composers and musicians who lived, studied and worked in Leipzig and whose work had an influence on European musical life are highlighted and reinterpreted in a multifaceted way in combination with other art forms. Notenspur Leipzig e.V. has developed a series of different productions with cultural partner institutions from France and Italy, which will then be presented together as part of the festival. Not only will baroque music be combined with poetry, but also with hip-hop and breakdance, young musicians will be offered a stage and school classes a varied supporting program.
