Welcome to Films for Foodies, a community cinema series combining culture, cuisine, and storytelling to create one-of-a-kind movie nights worth getting off the couch for.

Each event spotlights a global culture through the lens of film and food, creating a shared space for connection, discovery, and fun night out with the ReSee community.

We’re kicking off with a heartfelt tribute to Chinese culture by screening Lulu Wang’s acclaimed film The Farewell (2019). Based on a true story, the film explores family, tradition, and identity as a Chinese-American woman navigates the cultural divide between East and West.

Before the film, join us in Friedrichshain for a classic Chinese dinner and let the tastes of Shanghai set the mood for the evening. Afterwards, we’ll head to the b-ware!ladenkino to settle in for the show.
