The Association of Friends and Supporters of the Willrode Forest House (e.V.) aims to preserve this unique complex of buildings as a living monument in collaboration with the Forest Service and to creatively breathe new life into it. Our activities include historic preservation, sociocultural projects, forest education, environmental education, and nature conservation.

Through our activities, we aim to bring together people of all generations and from all walks of life. Intercultural exchange and a shared commitment to the forest, nature, art, and culture—the historic setting of the Willrode Forest House provides the ideal conditions for this.

Our association’s members organize projects, pitch in as a team at events, or provide support behind the scenes as supporting members. The association was founded in 1992 and today focuses primarily on providing an open platform for creative initiatives at this special location—in keeping with our guiding principle:
