Galerie Biesenbach was founded in 2012 and is run by its owner Stéphane Biesenbach in collaboration with Bettina Rogulla. The gallery's exhibition rooms have been located at Lindenstraße 34 in 50674 Cologne since March 15, 2024. The gallery can be reached at ground level and is located near Rudolfplatz with plenty of parking options.

Biesenbach shows international, contemporary art with a focus on painting and wall sculpture. We attach great importance to finding a balance between abstract and figurative positions in our program and promote and represent both young and established positions. A long-term collaboration with our artists is the goal of our gallery work.

In cooperation with galleries, art associations and museums, we support the work of our artists so that their works are also shown outside the gallery. 6 to 8 solo exhibitions and thematic group exhibitions per year within our own gallery space, often in collaboration with curators, sharpen the gallery's profile. The works of the artists we represent can be found in renowned public and private collections.

Since the beginning of 2020, the ART MATTERS series - an open call competition that takes place twice a year - has complemented our program. As independent exhibition points of our gallery program, these virtual projects are promoted through extensive social media campaigns and are given an important place alongside our physical presentations with their own online presence and web store.

After many years of concentrating mainly on our location in Cologne, we have been regularly participating in art fairs again since 2019, about 3 to 4 times a year, e.g. paper positions berlin, POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair, Luxembourg Art Week / The Fair, Bienvenue Art Fair in Paris and art KARLSRUHE.
