For 65 years, the aim of the Kölner Friedhofsgärtner cooperative has been to give people in Cologne and the surrounding area a new perspective on cemetery culture. We feel connected to these special places where people lay their loved ones to rest - and which also form 55 green oases in the middle of our city. Because our cemeteries are more than just a collection of individual memorials - they are valuable green spaces with a unique atmosphere.

Every visit can be a thought-provoking experience - be it on a walk through the burial gardens or when looking at the artistic gravestones and memorial plaques. With our 38 family-run member companies, we work closely with the City of Cologne to ensure that our cemeteries are managed sustainably and that future generations can also benefit from their beauty. With our commitment, we not only want to raise awareness of the value of these places, but also contribute to telling parts of our city's history.
