Four locations, three years, one network: with "Gropius' cultural islands", the Neukölln borough council's Department of Culture is activating four central public spaces in Gropiusstadt with site-specific artistic interventions from 2026 to 2028. At Lipschitzplatz, Pavillonplatz in the green corridor, Wildmeisterdamm and Apfelsinenplatz, formats will be created that bring art and culture directly into the everyday life of the neighborhood.

The public space becomes an aesthetic meeting place - a place where art not only decorates, but also irritates, inspires and activates. The residents of Gropiusstadt are not just an audience, but are actively involved in the artistic processes. The interplay between the four locations creates a lively network of cultural topographies that covers the entire neighborhood.
