Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft has been supporting the cultural, creative and media industries as the city's economic development agency since 2010. The aim is to improve the framework conditions for creative companies and promote synergies with other sectors.

Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft unites several initiatives such as Gamecity Hamburg, nextMedia.Hamburg and the Design Zentrum Hamburg under its umbrella. These initiatives work operationally to strengthen their respective submarkets.

The "FABRIC" project

FABRIC is a project of the Design Zentrum Hamburg and part of the municipal program "Hidden Potentials in the Inner City" of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing. It is funded as part of the federal program "Sustainable inner cities and centers".

With the FABRIC Future Fashion Lab, the project creates an innovative place for sustainable fashion, exchange and future-oriented business models. Among other things, it offers a pop-up store with changing labels, a café, an event space, a showroom, a glass workshop and fully equipped studio spaces.
