A new history museum is created

At the historic site - the former administrative building of Mannesmannröhren-Werke AG planned by Peter Behrens in 1910 and the first official residence of the North Rhine-Westphalian Minister Presidents until 1953 - a modern contemporary history museum on North Rhine-Westphalia's state history will be built over the next few years on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf in the immediate vicinity of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament - the Haus der Geschichte Nordrhein-Westfalen.
