Haus der Kulturen" is an intercultural and international, non-denominational and non-partisan meeting, education, information, event, art and cultural center.

"Around 42% of Düsseldorf residents have an international family history. This diversity and the commitment of the citizens form the basis for the House of Cultures."

Our aim is to promote the visibility, recognition and appreciation of cultural diversity in Düsseldorf and to set an example against all forms of discrimination. This center will serve as a lively meeting place for full-time and voluntary people with and without a migration background and promote intercultural participation and dialogue.

Our vision encompasses several key aspects that contribute to strengthening the cultural and social fabric of the community:

• Promoting cultural diversity and social cohesion.
• Creating spaces for social engagement,community and collaboration.
• Creative urban development and placemaking.
• Supporting education and awareness-raising.
