The association Haus für Film und Medien Stuttgart e.V. is made up of a total of 25 cultural institutions in Stuttgart. Together, they have been campaigning for the construction of a house for film and media in Stuttgart for 15 years.

With the film series "HFMxArthaus", the association is initiating a format for the fourth time that shows films on a specific focus topic and invites guests from the cultural environment to talk about it.

The film series aims to create encounters, initiate discussions and inspire. Visitors, filmmakers, activists, students, initiatives and partner institutions get into conversation. Cinema as a resonating space - for questions, for doubts, for the future.
