Heidelberger Frühling is one of the cultural highlights of the city of Heidelberg. What began as a classical music festival in 1997 has since developed into a year-round cultural institution that organizes festivals, concert series, conferences and support programmes for young artists.

These include the String Quartet Festival in January, where selected string quartets devote four days to the supreme discipline of chamber music, the Music Festival in spring, where the stars of the classical music scene and promising young artists are guests, the Lied Festival in June, where the song genre is rethought in creative formats, and the subscription series Chamber Music +.

In addition, the re:start program, which invites you to free concerts in the districts of Heidelberg, has been taking place since 2022.

Heidelberger Frühling offers a wide range of educational programs for families and schools as well as for young and old to participate in.

With the Lied Center , Heidelberger Frühling has created a center of excellence dedicated to the genre of song. In the Lied Academy, the Heidelberger Frühling competition "Das Lied" and other artistic projects such as the Lied.LABs, it can unfold creatively and innovatively in all its manifestations.

Program & Tickets

Tickets sind rund um die Uhr im Webshop, beim telefonischen Ticketservice von Montag bis Freitag von 10-18 Uhr und vor Ort ausschließlich an allen bekannten Vorverkaufskassen erhältlich. Ihre bestellten Tickets werden kostenlos per E-Mail versendet zum Selbstausdrucken oder zum Vorzeigen auf Ihrem Smartphone. Für eine Pauschale von 3 Euro pro Auftrag werden Ihre Tickets per Post direkt nach Hause versandt.
