The Heinrich-Heine-Kulturforum has been organizing events in the fields of art, music, theater, opera, cabaret, comedy and dance in Cologne-Ostheim for almost 30 years. We rely on a mixture of well-known local and nationally renowned artists. With our motivated organization team and professional event technology, we realize the performances in the auditorium of the Ostheim school center. We offer eight events per season, which are also available as subscriptions at an attractive preferential price, and inspire around 5,000 spectators every year.

Our association is non-profit and organized on a voluntary basis and promotes art and culture at Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium. In addition, we are committed to providing a high-quality and attractive cultural offering for Cologne-Ostheim and the neighboring districts.

Historically, the Kulturforum emerged from a committed group of parents and pupils at Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium, who initially organized small-scale theater performances. In the beginning, this group was affiliated with the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium's support association. Over the years, the program became more diverse and the events larger. Since 2012, the Heinrich Heine Cultural Forum has been an independent non-profit association with around 30 participants. The highlight of each season is the end-of-season summer festival.
