The Hohentwiel Festival was launched in 1969 and is one of the oldest open-air festivals in southern Germany. Over the years, it has evolved from a town festival for the citizens of Singen into a small but exquisite jazz festival, which has also attracted international stars such as Miles Davis and Dizzie Gillespie. In the meantime, the Hohentwiel Festival has blossomed into one of the region's major music events. Big names such as B.B. King, Joe Cocker, Chris de Burgh, Patricia Kaas, Nena and Silbermond are no rarity here.

The Hohentwiel Festival is organized and staged by the town of Singen in collaboration with Kokon Entertainment.
