Insane Urban Cowboys e.V.

On 30.11.2015, we founded an association from an existing, informal network in order to be able to pursue our goals in a concrete, uniform manner and, if necessary, in a formal framework as a corporate body. The association is based in Bochumer Straße in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf.

As an association, we carry out projects and events in the fields of culture and urban development, either independently or on behalf of third parties. Our focus is on opening up urban spaces for new ideas and perspectives based on people's social, cultural and economic realities.

This should take place in dialog with politics, administration and society. New urban planning, cultural and entrepreneurial approaches and forms, away from the conventional mainstream, should receive wider recognition.
