The 29th International German Language Poetry Slam Championships 2025 will take place in Chemnitz from 29.10. to 01.11.2025 as part of the European Capital of Culture year. The festival will take place over four days, includes 16 events and will attract around 300 cultural guests from seven countries to Chemnitz. Artists from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Italy (South Tyrol) will present their best texts on Chemnitz stages. This makes SLAM25 the largest festival for stage literature in Europe.
