When the doors of the cellar in the FRÜH brewery at the cathedral open on carnival days, it's clear that the heart of Cologne beats to the beat of the music. "Jeck em FRÜH- Keller" has long been more than just a series of events! It's an institution in Cologne's carnival, firmly anchored in the season calendar and in the hearts of true revellers.

For many years, well-known artists and performers have taken to the stage and provided unforgettable moments. Whether Cologne tunes, sing-along anthems or energetic live performances - one highlight follows another. At the same time, we also give newcomers a stage. Many of them are now permanent fixtures in Cologne's carnival and that is exactly what makes the special mix: Tradition meets the future, stars meet newcomers, everyone hits the heart of the Cologne heartland.

Our two real Cologne boys provide the right atmosphere on the stage: DJ's op Jöck: Kochlöffel & Schneebesen.

The "Kochlöffel" Jens is a long-time employee of FRÜH Gastronomie and knows like no other how to really heat up the audience. He has been bringing the cellar to the boil for many years, is on friendly terms with most of the artists and is actively involved in carnival himself. You can feel this closeness to the scene in every second.

Together with DJ Schneebesen, he transforms the FRÜH-Keller into a cauldron of good humor, Cologne music and an exuberant atmosphere. Both love Cologne, live carnival and that's exactly what you notice. They don't just hang out here, they celebrate. With heart, with passion and with a lot of Cologne jeföhl.
