The jfc Media Center is a specialist center for children's and youth media work in Cologne and North Rhine-Westphalia.

Founded in 1976 as a youth film club (jfc), we offer educational activities, advice, training and services at the intersection of media, culture and education. Many of our programs are aimed directly at children, young people and families. In addition, we address multipliers at organizations in the social, educational and cultural sectors that actively use media. The jfc Media Centre is a non-profit association and is recognized as an independent youth welfare organization. It receives basic funding from the child and youth development plan of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and from the youth development program of the city of Cologne. This is supplemented by project funding from various public and private supporters.
