Events, weekends, workshops
The events of the kfd-DV Cologne range from spiritual time-outs and social politics to further training for private life, work and more. Most of the events are aimed at women and FLINTA*. These could be a weekend retreat in nature, a feminist reading, a seminar on ETFs and retirement planning, a creative workshop on presenting with a flipchart, a series of discussions on climate protection and much more.
What is the kfd?
kfd is one of the largest women's associations in Germany. Its predecessor associations date back to 1856. Today, kfd is a modern network of women for women.
The kfd sees itself as representing the interests of women in politics, society and the church and offers a community for women.
What does that mean?
For example, the kfd campaigns for a blessing for all in the Catholic Church, for women to be allowed to become deacons and priests, and against outdated power structures.
In politics and society, values such as diversity and equal rights for all genders are important to the kfd, as are issues such as mothers' pensions and the value of care work, as well as empowerment for women of all ages.
The Katholische Frauengemeinschaft Deutschlands is a membership association, but you don't have to be Catholic or in a Christian church to become a member - it is enough to share the values of the community.
The events published here on rausgegangen are for members and non-members, and there are discounts for members at some events.
