Our carnival society was founded in 1883 and is one of the oldest societies affiliated to the festival committee. We were named a traditional society in the 2023 session. Since the 100th anniversary in 1983, the Volkssitzungen in the heated marquee on Neumarkt have been an integral part of Cologne Carnival. A very special highlight is the so-called Volksproklamation of the current triumvirate.

Our events also include "Fastelovend en d'r Weetschaff" in the Früh am Dom, the costume session in the Sartory and the "Paprikaball" on Carnival Saturday.
