The Kino im Blauen Salon is the university cinema of the HfG Karlsruhe. In the Blauer Salon, the university's cinema hall (50 seats), students organize film series every semester that focus on film history, short film programmes, experimental films and student productions.

The HfG Karlsruhe's university cinema has been in existence since the summer semester of 2016, with a new team every semester and some members staying on for longer. Each semester, a film program is created together, with a different focus depending on the constellation.
