On February 23, 2025 at 8 pm, the Hamburg-West/Südholstein church district will bring Britten's "War Requiem" to the Laeiszhalle - on the eve of the third anniversary of the war in Ukraine. Around 150 performers, including six Hamburg choirs, three soloists and the Hamburg Camerata, will present this important work under the direction of Frank Löhr. Britten's appeal for peace and against the horrors of war remains relevant. Tickets: 12 to 28 euros, available online and at advance booking offices.
