Kölner Lesbian Visibility Weeks 2026

We invite the lesbian and queer FLINTA community and all interested parties to a special four-week series of events. Our working group "Visibility and Networking of Lesbians and Queer FLINTA in Cologne" is organizing the series of events from 22 April to 17 May 2026.

Lesbian Visibility Day has been celebrated on April 26 since 1990, first in the USA and later in other countries. As the name suggests, it is primarily about making lesbians visible: on the one hand, they are often still not taken seriously in their desire, their love and their lifestyle or, on the other hand, they are overly sexualized and politicized.

Under the title "Lesbian Visibility Weeks 2026 - lesbian.queer.cologne", events from a wide range of initiatives, associations and groups from Cologne's LGBTI community will be brought together. The offerings range from networking, art, culture, music and history to dance and hiking.
