The KomponistenQuartier brings music history to life.
A multimedia educational concept highlights the life and artistic work of important composers such as Gustav Mahler, Johannes Brahms and Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn. It establishes exciting links to Hamburg's city history and provides interactive access to the Hanseatic city's musical heritage with numerous interesting audio examples, short films and musical instruments. And all this in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg's Michel, the Laeiszhalle and the Grossneumarkt.
