Könnt' schlimmer sein! arose from an encounter in an improv course and the shared realization that we enjoy playing together and want to continue. Therese, Sebastian, Martin and Andreas have been performing on stage as a permanent formation since 2025, combining different experiences, backgrounds and playing styles to form a joint ensemble.

What unites the four of them is their enthusiasm for spontaneous storytelling, surprising characters and the magic of stories that are created without a script. Their respective training has taken them from local improv greats in the Rhine-Neckar region to workshops and festivals with national and international improv artists.

Living in Mannheim, the Odenwald, Stuttgart and the Palatinate, they regularly travel many kilometers for rehearsals and performances - out of conviction that good improv theater thrives above all on trust, the joy of playing and the courage to jump into the unknown together. And if something does go wrong: it could be worse!
