On May 30 and 31, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Perleberg's town center will be one big stage and spectators of all ages will be right in the middle of it. At PerleBÄM!, various street artists from Prignitz and other regions come to the district town. Throughout the day, they perform shows at fixed locations spread across the church square, the large market, the shoe market, Bäckerstraße and Mühlenberg. With Free admission, the festival offers the whole range of street art, from artistry, theater, music, juggling to comedy, slapstick and magic.
The Perleberg City Initiative is involved in the project, the stores in the town center are open on the Sunday and local restaurateurs also offer food and drinks to go for the walk to the venues. Strolling through the medieval streets is just as much part of the PerleBÄM! program as standing still, joining in and being amazed, meeting people and being surprised.
As is usual with all street shows, whether in Paris or in Perleberg, the artists live for the applause.
