We make culture - for and with Berlin.

We bring people and ideas together - in front of and behind the scenes. Together with partners from all over the city, we work to interest, inspire and involve as many people as possible in Berlin's unique culture and history. To this end, we create access, inform, initiate, develop, accompany and realize a wide variety of projects - with sophisticated content and in popular formats, from the initial concept to the clean-up afterwards.

Our projects thrive on participation and networks: we have been cooperating with almost all of Berlin's museums, theaters and memorials for 15 years. We also work with various educational institutions and associations, with science and politics, with the independent scene and - above all - with the people of Berlin.

Kulturprojekte Berlin is a state-owned company (GmbH). We are a non-profit organization and work independently with the aim of strengthening and networking Berlin's culture. We receive basic institutional funding from the state of Berlin and finance our projects by acquiring grants and third-party funding.

We are experts in a wide range of topics: from large open-air events and the conception and realization of exhibitions and campaigns to advising creative and cultural professionals and developing participation and mediation formats.
