Kulturschock e.V. – Promoting Cabaret in Franconia

Kulturschock e.V. is a nonprofit cultural association dedicated to promoting cabaret and, in particular, poetry slam in Franconia. For many years, we have been organizing events in a wide variety of cities and venues—from established stages to unique open-air locations.

Our program ranges from classic poetry slams to themed and team slams, as well as formats such as PowerPoint Karaoke, stand-up comedy, and literary walks. In doing so, we provide a stage for established artists as well as up-and-coming talent and people stepping up to the microphone for the first time.

With events in Nuremberg, Fürth, Bayreuth, Ansbach, Forchheim, Roth, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Schwabach, and many other locations, we bring live literature to the entire region. In addition, we organize championship events such as the Frankenslam and regularly host national competitions.

As a volunteer-run association, we believe that culture brings people together. That’s why we’re committed to making culture accessible to everyone, promoting cultural participation, and fostering a vibrant cabaret scene in Franconia.
