Moin - we are Laut & Lästig e.V.

We have been an integral part of Kamen's cultural scene since 1989. What began as a small idea is now a non-profit association with a lot of oomph: We make sure that music in Kamen is not only heard, but also made - from here, for here. We create stages for bands from the region, connect musicians, bring technology where there would otherwise be none, and ensure that there is something going on in Kamen on a regular basis - loud, annoying and, above all, with a lot of heart.

What we do

Of course, you know our annual Laut & Lästig Open Air. But we also put on concerts throughout the year - right in Kamen, with local acts and for an audience that loves handmade music. We have our own PA that we use for our events - so that the music sounds the way it should. And because we don't live on an island, we actively exchange ideas with bands and promoters from Unna, Bergkamen, Dortmund and the surrounding area. Networking is simply part of what we do. If you make music - whether alone or with a band - and want to take to the stage, get in touch. With us, you'll not only find opportunities to perform, but also people who will take you seriously, help you and want to work on projects together. It doesn't matter whether you've played before or are just starting out.

Whether it's pulling cables, setting up the stage or helping with booking - there's always something to do with us. Technical enthusiasts, organizational talents or simply people who enjoy culture are in the right place with us. All you need is an interest and a bit of time. We'll manage the rest together. In addition to concerts and events, we also have a monthly regulars' table - very informal, without an agenda. We chat, make plans and sometimes even get a bit carried away. Once a year, we meet for the general meeting, where we tackle the big issues. Those who attend are heard - that's important to us.
