Since our founding in 2010, we, the Leipzig Lakers, have stood for passion, development and genuine team spirit in basketball. Over the past few years, we have become a permanent fixture in the Leipzig sports scene and now offer players of all ages and abilities a sporting home.

With our men's and women's teams as well as strong youth development work in the male and female youth sector from U10 to U18, we specifically promote young talent and attach great importance to training, fair play and community. Our offer is complemented by modern competition formats such as 3x3 league tournaments, which provide additional dynamism and match practice.

We now have over 350 players registered with the club - a clear sign of our steady growth and the enthusiasm for basketball in Leipzig.

For us, the Leipzig Lakers are more than just a club: We stand for cohesion, passion and a shared love of the game.
