"Daring more democracy" is the motto of the 6th LETsDOK documentary film festival: from September 18 to October 15, numerous documentary films that convey and strengthen basic democratic values and promote diversity, equal opportunities and sustainability will be shown in cinemas across Germany. Over 200 events are planned throughout Germany. Cinema operators and regional organizers can choose from over 50 curated films.

The film screenings will be accompanied by in-depth discussions with filmmakers and experts. Many documentaries are shown as part of special events, alongside readings, lectures, panel discussions, workshops and concerts.
