In Cologne, ideas are usually born over a Kölsch, this one was created in an ice cream parlor:
lit.COLOGNE has been held in Cologne every March since 2001. It is an international literary festival that complements the classic author reading with discussions and talks with musicians, chefs, athletes, politicians - in short, exciting and important personalities of our world.

With up to 200 events and a special program for children (lit.kid.COLOGNE), lit.COLOGNE is one of the largest literary festivals in Europe. The events take place in theaters and venues throughout Cologne.
