The Match Börner Open Air is an independent punk, pop-punk and indie festival that takes place annually in the Stadtpark Norderstedt near Hamburg. Since its premiere in 2021, it has quickly developed into one of the most important punk festivals in northern Germany - with over 7,000 visitors in 2025.

The festival is characterized by a family atmosphere, a coherent program and short distances. Instead of commercial mass processing, the MBOA focuses on attitude, diversity and a deliberately curated mix of established scene greats and up-and-coming acts.

For the fifth anniversary in 2026, Royal Republic, ZSK, Slime, Adam Angst, Schmutzki, Rantanplan, 100 Kilo Herz, Blackout Problems, Der Butterwegge, Tyna, Elfmorgen and Edelgift will be performing.

The site in Stadtpark Norderstedt offers a green backdrop in the middle of an urban area - with excellent public transport connections from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
