NaturGut Ophoven in Opladen is an extracurricular place of learning.

It is the center for environmental education for children and adults in the city, an ESD regional center and an important player in the implementation of the 17 sustainability goals in Leverkusen.

The environmental center has been run by the city of Leverkusen and the association since 1988 on a listed estate, Gut Ophoven, in the middle of a 60,000 square meter nature adventure park. Several national and international awards attest to the quality of this dedicated work.

From the estate, you enter the grounds of the NaturGut, a natural adventure park for young and old. A hedge maze, aroma trail, small and large pond, amphitheater, insect house, play area and much more await walkers.
