Crossing borders. Searching for unheard sounds and forms: The strange and unfamiliar in new music irritates or challenges. The Baden-Württemberg New Music Network has set itself the goal of meeting this challenge and facilitating access to new music for interested people of all ages. The state-wide association of numerous players in new music, musical education and the various musical interest groups aims to create sustainable structures that will be made available to the individual institutions.

The aim is to network the protagonists of the education, training and art systems with each other, to create local offers for a wide audience in cooperation and to develop the necessary financial resources. A particular focus is on working with and for young people, not only within the framework of the annual projects of the Landesjugenensemble (LJE). The association "Netzwerk Neue Musik Baden-Württemberg e.V." was founded on 23.07.2012 and entered in the register of associations in September 2012 and is recognized as a non-profit association for the promotion of art and culture.
