Think tank for sustainability

Neue Effizienz is a non-profit think tank for sustainable transformation in the Bergisch city-triangle. We are an affiliated institute of the University of Wuppertal and a cooperation partner of the Wuppertal Institute.

Our core task is the cooperative design of transformation processes in the region. The focus is on entrepreneurial and municipal structures. To this end, we promote practical knowledge and technology transfer, initiate and support innovations and bring together activities and actors with different interests regionally, nationally and internationally. Our work focuses on the topics of energy transition, mobility transition, circular economy and skills development.
