Neue Medien e.V. has been committed to the visibility, participation and cultural self-representation of people in all their diversity for over 30 years.

The association creates creative spaces in which diverse voices are heard and stories are told artistically - both online and offline. With projects such as the Couch Talks event series, Living Library, Pride Words for All and the publication of BOX magazine and various web representations, it combines digital media work, a culture of remembrance and artistic forms of expression.

A particular concern is the inclusion of groups that are often less visible: queer people, especially older gays and lesbians and their history(ies), people with disabilities and people from precarious life situations.

Neue Medien e.V. works in an inclusive, low-threshold and diversity-conscious manner in order to break down barriers and make life realities visible in all their breadth - as a contribution to an open, solidary and democratic society.
