Basically, the work of the regional office covers the following topics:
- Imparting knowledge (specialist forums, advice, further training, etc.)
- Representation in important institutions and committees, regionally and nationally (Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste, Kulturrat NRW, boards of trustees)
- Supporting artists through funding programs (advice on all funding issues, allocation of funding)
- Networking with actors in the scene and qualified mentors, producers, etc.
- Events: FAVORITEN - the central festival from NRW with national and international impact
