As a voice for people whose reality is often overlooked. Hip-hop has always been a protest, a political movement, a mouthpiece for marginalized groups, an outcry against injustice.

Randbezirk was created by two people who both share a deep and long-standing connection to hip-hop culture. Different paths in life, but a common foundation. For them, hip-hop was never just a genre, but an attitude, a language and an identity. Randbezirk was born out of this shared conviction - as a platform, as a movement, as an expression of genuine culture.

Here, people don't adapt, they express. Not decorated, but documented. Randbezirk is a platform for artists who take a stand. Who do not remain silent. Who say what needs to be said on beats, on walls or in a circle of people, directly, uncomfortably, honestly.

Randbezirk is not a show. It is a place for culture that is allowed to be uncomfortable. For diversity that doesn't have to explain itself. For rhymes that hurt and for images that remain. The events combine music, visual art and urban expression. Each location becomes a stage for real stories, far removed from filter aesthetics and commercial calculations.

We create spaces in which hip-hop can once again be what it was and remains, a mirror of the marginalized, a political weapon, a tool to lend voices and a non-judgmental home for every person, regardless of origin, gender, orientation, language or the like. Not elitist, but open. Not perfect, but real.
