Slow Listening Club Cologne – Analog Sound for a Noisy World

We are not missionaries of sound. We simply believe that you should listen to a record as if something depended on it. One of us comes from the world of formats and organization. The other from the world of music and collecting. Both of us share the experience that attention is no accident. We don’t organize events to show off. We organize these events because we want to listen. The Slow Listening Club is not a platform for self-promotion. It is a space for concentration. And it begins with us. The Slow Listening Club collaborates with selected partners who make the format possible technically, spatially, and through documentation. In Cologne, the format is supported byMSP HiFi &Thorens,Café Franck, andTim(photo & video). Our partners provide the technology, space, and infrastructure. During the record, they take a back seat. After the record, they serve as hosts and conversation partners. Without them, this evening would not be possible.
