Sport gegen Gewalt, Intoleranz und Rassismus

At the heart of our Sport against Violence, Intolerance and Racism program are the popular soccer and basketball nights for all young people between the ages of 16 and 25. Together with partners from politics, sport and society, we, the Bremen State Sports Association, launched this project 21 years ago in various districts of Bremen.

Our overriding aim is to bring together young people from different cultural backgrounds and nationalities to play sport together.
Respect for others, fairness, team spirit and a general desire for sport are the main leitmotifs of the Bremen Sports Nights, which are intended to have a preventative and integrative effect in the various districts.

Bremen sports nights

We hold regular sports nights in the following districts: Blockdiek, Hemelingen, Huchting, Marßel, Gröpelingen, Kattenturm, Blumenthal and Tenever.
We also organize sports nights exclusively for girls and young women.
