Stadtgarten e. V. was founded on 17.01.2024. We promote an environmentally friendly and grandchild-friendly neighborhood and park.

We are neighbors and friends of the Cologne Stadtgarten. Climate change is putting us on the map! One thing is certain: Cities are getting hotter and hotter. So is Cologne and our Veedel. People are dying. Trees are falling victim to heavy rain, storms and drought. This is also happening in our park. In the future, we will have to behave differently, move differently and build and plant our urban structures differently.

The city of Cologne wants to be climate-neutral by 2035. We are now considering what this means for our neighborhood: What changes do we need and want? How do we find out? How can we play a constructive role in this transformation process and help shape it?

Our topics are: the Stadtgarten-Park, the Stadtgarten-Veedel and the neighborhood. With our civic engagement, we are no longer just exposed to climate change. We are drivers and co-creators of urban transformation in our everyday environment. - That's what drives us.
