Stadtglühen enters its fifth round - from July 18 to August 17, 2025

It "glows" at 10 locations in the city center and the districts with performances from cabaret, comedy, readings, theater, dance, visual arts, street performance, including special program items for children. Bands and soloists from rock and jazz to electronic music and classical music will be performing. In addition to the main stage, there will also be side program offerings, for example young people from Circus Configurani will be on site to practice tricks with children.

Over 100 events will captivate visitors for around four weeks.
Food and drink will be provided. Vegan burgers, fries, wraps etc. - local caterers will once again be providing culinary delights and drinks this year. On the grounds, tables, benches and chilled seating will invite you to enjoy snacks, listen, chat and linger.

Admission to all events is free of charge.

Stadtglühen is a cooperation between the City of Aachen's cultural department and its project partner, Musikbunker e. V., as well as Aachen's independent cultural scene. Politicians and the City of Aachen support the summer cultural festival of the independent scene with 350,000 euros.
