OUR VISION

STADTKLANG is a live concert series that offers high-quality concerts free of charge throughout NRW. For this purpose, up to 50 concerts are organized monthly within a radius of 30 km with Düsseldorf as the center. STADTKLANG concerts stand for high-quality music evenings, which should be accessible to all interested people, regardless of income, religion, age and origin. Hence our motto: Live music for everyone! In this way Stadtklang contributes decisively to the enrichment of cultural life in the greater Düsseldorf area.

WHO WE ARE

STADTKLANG is the idea of musician and producer Kyung-il Han, who laid the foundation for today's concert series in November 2011 with six concerts a month. Meanwhile, we are a multicultural, eleven-member team from the creative industries, cultural studies and event technology. We are also supported by volunteers and consultants.

WHAT WE DO

STADTKLANG currently hosts nearly 200 free concerts a year featuring the best newcomers from a pool of over 5,000 applicants from all over Germany, Europe and beyond. So far, we have played over 750 concerts in changing restaurants, bars and hotels in the city. Stadtklang places the highest value on artistic and technical quality in the execution of the events, in order to create a unique live feeling with a simultaneous living room character at every concert.
