Extensive archive on the past and present of Altona/Ottensen in the former Ottensen wire pin factory, which is now a listed building. Demonstrations of historical machines take place: From wire to nail, events and exhibitions are organized in the "Kesselhaus", and the district archive regularly invites visitors on district tours and walks.

Closed on public holidays and during Hamburg school vacations.
