From 12 to 28 May 2025, Start Art Week | Cash for Culture will present itself in Düsseldorf with a 12-day program. In a mix of lectures, practical workshops, presentations and networking events, the industry event is dedicated to the central questions and challenges in dealing with and seeking funding. The formats taking place at various locations are aimed at artists, cultural professionals and freelance creatives. The focus is on those who are at the beginning of their career or in the professionalization phase.

Crash courses teach, among other things, how to find suitable funding lines, what it takes to make artistic or community-oriented creative projects "eligible" for funding in the first place, how to efficiently design funding applications and financing plans and what alternatives there are for project financing outside of traditional cultural funding.
