Swantje Sperling has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since 2021.

She was directly elected to the state parliament in the Baden-Württemberg 2021 state election on March 14, 2021 with 30.0% of the vote in the Waiblingen constituency. She is her parliamentary group's spokesperson for local politics and digital infrastructure.

As a member of the state parliament, she organizes a regular program in Waiblingen, Fellbach, Winnenden, Schwaikheim, Leutenbach and Korb with experts and representatives of civil society.
