In summer 2025, the third edition of the "Tatort Paderborn" series will take place with the exhibition "Der Fluss bin ich".

The exhibition is dedicated to the river Pader and its special significance for the city. The works of art are created along the river, which rises from around 200 springs in the middle of the city. After only 4.6 kilometers, the Pader flows into the Lippe - making it the shortest river in Germany and only flowing within a single city. The exhibition takes this uniqueness as an opportunity to ask about the role that the Pader plays for Paderborn. What would it be like to view it as an equal citizen of the city? What new perspectives arise when the river is seen not just as a natural phenomenon, but as part of urban life? By combining art and nature, the exhibition opens up unusual perspectives on the interplay between the city and the river.

The third exhibition in the series is curated by Marijke Lukowicz as artistic director and Sophia Trollmann as co-curator. Marijke Lukowicz (*1986 in Berlin) is an art historian and curator specializing in 20th and 21st century art. Most recently, she curated the "Emscherkunstweg" project at Urbane Künste Ruhr. Sophia Trollmann (*1984 in Dachau) is a cultural scientist and curator and develops formats for cultural participation processes. Her focus is on visual art in public spaces and its mediation.

A diverse supporting and educational program will accompany the exhibition, including workshops, talks, guided walks and bike tours.
