At flüüs&fraanje in Hamburg Eimsbüttel you can tuft individual rugs, cushion covers, picture frames or seat cushions from new wool using a hand tufting machine.

Only high-quality materials are used in the workshop. The mulesing-free new wool comes from sheep from New Zealand (71%), Norway (15%) and England (14%). The yarn is dyed and spun in Germany.

flüüs&fraanje - which translates as "tufts & fringes" - is a tribute to craftsmanship, textures and creative chaos. The name is a mixture of Low German and fantasy, just like the label itself: a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design.

Behind flüüs&fraanje is Antonia Eigel, a trained visual marketing designer. As an interior designer and graphic designer, she discovered her passion for interior design while working for the Swedish furniture store.

She later worked for many years as an editor in the architecture, living and interior design sector. During this time, she discovered the tufting trend - and developed a passion for the versatile craft.

Since 2022, she has been passing on her knowledge in workshops and using a hand-tufting machine to produce her own carpets, seat cushions and textile home accessories - with individual designs on request.
