With 80,000 athletes and hundreds of thousands of visitors, the International German Gymnastics Festival is the world's largest competitive and popular sports event. First appearing as the host of the third General German Gymnastics Festival in 1863, Leipzig will host a gymnastics festival for the 13th time in 2025. With a compact and contemporary concept, a wide variety of sporting competitions, spectacular shows, hands-on activities and demonstrations will be held at various locations in the city from May 28 to June 1, 2025.
